ABOUT SARAH & PROSPERING PRACTICES

Before training as a therapist

Sarah had gained extensive experience working in corporate business, finance and marketing.

Deciding she wanted a change in career, she qualified as a Craniosacral Therapist in 2011, but by this time, she found herself as the sole parent to her two very young daughters.

Without any financial support, Sarah needed to build her therapy practice to a level where she could pay the mortgage and feed her children as quickly as possible.

Building the practice

Sarah worked part time as a cleaner (cleaning 8 houses a week!) and also part time as a freelance copy editor in the early days whilst her clinical practice built up but the pressure was on because practicing therapy was the only thing she wanted to do!

Soon she was being recognised in the industry for having built one of the busiest and most recognised Craniosacral Therapy practices around.

Tutoring and supervising

Sarah still has her Craniosacral Therapy practice in Kent. She worked part time as a tutor at the Craniosacral Therapy Educational Trust's student clinic in London for a number of years and is Core Process Psychotherapy trained (Foundation level). Sarah is a Craniosacral Therapy Association accredited supervisor and worked as a tutor at Body College, London from 2021 to 2024.

All leading to the birth of Prospering Practices

With her business and marketing background, and having been through the process of building a successful therapy practice from nothing, Sarah became frustrated at the misconception amongst many therapists that it's not possible to earn a decent income practicing therapy and that was when Prospering Practices was born.

Sarah is on a mission to coach and empower other therapists to achieve great success and all with best practice and integrity at the forefront.
